Calming Minds’ One-On-One Sessions are held in Spearwood and Yangebup, Western Australia.
We are so passionate about providing children with the skillset of Mindful Meditation, as it is such a precious gift we can gift our children of today, so they can use this empowering skillset now and in the future when they become productive members of the community.
All One-On-One Sessions are created to cater for your child’s needs, so they can see the value in their own ‘unique light’ and find inner peace at an early age, helping them to cope with their emotions and life events.
One-On-One Sessions are an easy and fun way to address and support:
- Behavioural challenges in the classroom, and at home
- Children suffering from anxiety, depression or overwhelmed by emotions
- Home, family and relationship stresses and worries
- Sleeping issues
- Resilience and Positivity
- Left and right brain stimulation
- Creative children
- Playground bullying
- Children with ADD and ADHD
- Non-competitive children
- Stress and worry relating to formal testing at a school or at a national level (NAPLAN)
- Wellbeing of the whole child – physical, mental, social and emotional
All One-On-One Sessions are extremely fun and interactive, finishing off with a beautiful meditation helping your child to find a sense of peace and calm, while learning the tools and techniques to introduce these practices into their everyday lives.
Our sessions allow children to experience the benefits of quietening and calming their minds, while regulating their own emotions, to improve their ability to retain and recall information, improve concentration and learn to redirect mind chatter from a ‘Fixed Mindset’ to a ‘Growth Mindset’ (negative to a positive mindset) to support good mental health and their overall wellbeing.
We work with your child and their challenges, having fun while learning in the specialised one-on-one session created for your child’s needs.
One-on-One Sessions include:
- Mindful Movement/Games and Yoga
- Breathing techniques, helping children to self-regulate those big emotions we all experience at times, reducing stress and anxiety
- Guided Visualisation Meditation encouraging ‘calm children’
- Teaching of positive self-talk to build self-esteem
- Promoting awareness of thought and action
- Nourishing creativity and encouraging compassion, generosity and respect
- Stimulating parts of the brain that increase focus and concentration
- Guidance and Resources for Parents after each session, on what your child/ren have learnt and how to introduce the skillset in the home environment.
- Having fun while learning!
These sessions are a creative and fun way to support the overall wellbeing of children, with children experiencing and developing a skill set to manage underlying thought processes and empower them when facing personal challenges.
Children’s One-on-One Sessions equip children with skills they can use at pivotal points in their schooling journey and equip children with the greatest life tools we can give them!

Calming Minds one-on-one sessions also covers focus areas in the Australian Child Protection Curriculum and aligning with the Australian Curriculum’s Health and Physical Education strand and the Early Years Learning Framework.
All One-On-One Sessions go for 1 hour – held in Spearwood or Yangebup, Western Australia and are specialised for your child/ren’s needs.
Given we take a family approach here at Calming Minds, after every session parents receive detailed information on what their child/ren have learnt and how to keep the skill-set alive in the home.
